The NYS Elks Scholarship is available to three groups of students:
- High school seniors planning to attend college
- Current college students who have not previously applied for the scholarship
- Students planning to attend a vocational or trade school
Each group has a different application process, as outlined below.
1. High School Seniors Planning to Attend College
High school seniors must complete the Elks National Foundation (ENF) Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship application first.
- Complete the MVS application online at:
https://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/MVS.cfm- After completing the application, the applicant should print a copy of the completed MVS application.
- The applicant must then complete the one-page NYS Elks Scholarship cover page (attached).
2. Current College Students Who Have Never Applied
Current college students who have never previously applied for the NYS Elks Scholarship should:
- Complete the College Applicant application (attached).
3. Vocational/Trade School Students
Students planning to attend a vocational or trade school should:
- Complete the Vocational Student application (attached).

Submission Process
Once an application is completed, it should be submitted to the applicant’s Elks Lodge for the appropriate signatures.
After the Lodge has completed and signed the application, the Lodge should mail the completed application to the appropriate coordinator.
