On Saturday morning April 12th, members of Yorktown Lodge and their families and friends, together with People Helping People NY, assembled 309 Easter Bags for underprivileged children in the area. Thanks to the generosity of our Members, who donated all the candy and toys needed to make these Easter bags, we were able to assemble as many as we did. We beat our own record of 203 bags, set last year! The enthusiasm of the kids participating was high and excitement was in the air. Thank you to all who donated candy and their time to make this event a success. Easter Bags will go to St Patrick’s Church in Yorktown and Church of the Assumption in Peekskill.
